Pvt. Islandgirl

It may appear to some that by using the picture of me shooting what quite possibly is a very large gun (it's actually a Federal Riot Gun or FRG) that I am a soldier. But, in actuality that was on of the high points in the day in the life of Islandgirl's five hour stint in the Regiment. I have many reasons to be thankful I am a girl. One of the top reasons is because I'll never be drafted to serve my country in the Regiment (Bermuda's military service). Because of this sexist view, when a girlie girl, such as myself, does take up the challenge to be in the military it turns into quite a hilarious story. As I mentioned before, shooting that FRG was the high point in five very stressful hours of my life last year so I'm really proud of that picture (plus, my uniform matches smashingly with my blogs background colours).
